If you’re surfing around for work-at-home roles, you’ll probably stumble across a few posts about Lionbridge and online rater or ‘search assessor’ jobs. Well, Telus Digital bought out Lionbridge, and still advertises for these type of roles. You can find them under ‘AI Community’ on their website.
The role requires that you assess online search results to enhance their quality, just like the old Lionbridge roles. You are expected to analyse and rate content relevance to search terms, while so reviewing language for grammar, tone, and cultural appropriateness. Workers have mentioned that they have to sign a non-disclosure agreement to take part and they are not therefore allowed to give too many details.
Those selected for the role are expected to work a minimum of 10 hours a week, and up to 20 hours a week are available.
Pay
Typical rater pay offered is $12 – $14 USD per hour.

There are no specific reviews on Trustpilot for Telus Digital. There are reviews for Telus International but we believe that many relate to spoof websites impersonating the real company. Take care to visit Telus Digital directly and do not go through LinkedIn invites as this seems to be the main concern.
Availability
Opportunities are advertised by region. At this time we have only seen rater roles advertised for US and German residents (with this being a requirement of application) but we would suggest checking back from time-to-time.
